Split bets are a type of inside
roulette bets where you place a bet on two different numbers on the
roulette table with one bet. You can either place a bet on two horizontal numbers or on two vertical numbers, the two numbers just must be touching. This is a fairly common type of roulette bet.
If either of your numbers on a split bet hits, you are paid 17:1. For example, if you placed a $5 two number split bet and hit either one of your numbers, you would be paid $85.
